PERSONALISED HELP IN YOUR OWN HOME
You are thinking about having a HOME VISIT for your puppy or adult dog from our qualified and experienced Behaviourist Vera Marney, but you are nowhere near any of the areas that we cover in person? It's not a problem, we can still help and yes, remote help via Zoom/Messenger is an effective and convenient way to learn how to help your dog with obedience and behaviour issues. In fact there are distinct advantages to work with us remotely in some situations.

It's convenient, no need to travel (or pay for travel costs), and we can work from the comfort of your home (and yes, we could potentially even go for a walk together via zoom)

There are fewer distractions, which means that it may be easier for both you and your dog. Most training/behaviour modification exercises need to be started at home anyway until they are fluent and confident enough to be used in the required situations

For some issues like issues with strangers for example, remote training is better for the dog as they don't have to deal with a stranger in their home

Sessions can be recorded if requested so you can go back over everything that was covered without having to remember everything by heart or take lots of notes
How does it work?

Just like in an in-person session, we will discuss your dog's history, their lifestyle and of course what the issues are that you would like to address.
For further assessment and to start the training process we may ask you to take some videos in situations where your dog displays the behaviours.
​
We will talk about our findings and explain what the underlying issues are and we will of course discuss what training is needed to help you shape your dog into the family member and canine good citizen that you want him to be.
​
The Behaviour Modification Plan will cover any necessary lifestyle changes, management adjustments and the actual training/behaviour modification to address the underlying training or behaviour problem. We will start any training exercises you need there and then, so you can get help and feedback in real time.

Follow-up sessions are of course available, again with help of video if necessary, where we can assess progress and work on further steps to take. ​
PUPPY HOME SESSION (£105)
A Puppy Home Visit or Online session is ideal for puppies of up to approximately 6 months old. The session lasts approximately 2 hours and takes place in your and your puppy's home via Zoom/Messenger. This is ideal for owners who are not sure how to train and take care of their new puppy or simply to get some advice whilst waiting for Puppy Classes.

The following areas are covered: house training, play biting, chewing, socialisation, basic obedience training and handling, general care and answering any questions you might have.
BASIC 121 TRAINING SESSION (£105)
Most training and basic behaviour issues can be covered including obedience and control issues like recall problems, pulling on the lead, chasing bikes, joggers or cars, lack of focus and similar issues as well as separation anxiety, house training, hyperactivity etc.
A first session is generally up to 2 hours, any follow-up sessions (if needed) up to an hour.

COMPREHENSIVE BEHAVIOUR SESSION (£190)
This Plan includes two sessions, not just one!
This will cover more complex behaviours like aggression as well as multiple behaviour issues.
The first session generally takes up to 2 hours, the follow-up session will take about an hour.
